This is the new Parkside Tribe where eventually staff/bands will post their events and a little what not.
I work for Tribe.net and got the chance to meet Sean O' Conner and his publicist Sarah of Parkside. I could tell by talking to them that there is a real sense of community within Parkside. Hopefully this Tribe can be another outlet for that to be expressed.

Thu, October 14, 2004 - 6:35 PMhey are you guys, like , uh forcing them to have a Tribe?
isn't that like kinda cheesy
aren't tribes like better if they are an organic happening thing?
i mean, sure... i would loved knowing via tribe that Jesse Dayton was in town recently...
but uh, isn't half the battle/fun going down there to find out? -

Re: Huddle up
Thu, October 14, 2004 - 11:44 PMyou're absolutely right I think it is better if it is organic. That being said Tribe is merely letting clubs and venues know that the possibility is there to create a tribe and then if they would like to start one I ask for a description preference and that I can start it as moderator but then let them take the reigns.
I only do this to make it easier for them to initially handle being in charge of the tribe. But no we never start any tribes unless the venues or clubs wish for us to do so.
It is fun to go and find out but some people like to find out ahead of time and this is a dynamic outlet for events and news to be posted.
