    <title>MTB vs. Penelope Houston at Thee Parkside 11/16</title>

&lt;br/&gt;Therieau band, featuring Dave Gleason and Ben Wayne, rocking like all 
&lt;br/&gt;get
&lt;br/&gt;out with myself not to mention MT strangulatin' his own worthy tunes.  Rock and 
&lt;br/&gt;Roll
&lt;br/&gt;with capital ARRRRRs in the grand tradition of Free, Humble Pie, The 
&lt;br/&gt;Faces
&lt;br/&gt;and, of course, Wig Wam.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;In the other corner it's the all-time queen of Bay Area rock and roll,
&lt;br/&gt;Penelope Houston and LOUT! Just back from a 19 city european rampage, 
&lt;br/&gt;this
&lt;br/&gt;band (featuring Michael "Mike" Therieau, Pat Johnson, Ned Doherty, and 
&lt;br/&gt;"El
&lt;br/&gt;Gigante" Dave Leonard on drums) is set to kick ass in a rare San 
&lt;br/&gt;Francisco
&lt;br/&gt;appearance.  
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;(Wait, does this mean we'll be grappling against ourselves? Yes!  And 
&lt;br/&gt;we
&lt;br/&gt;like it!!!)
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;It all goes down Tuesday November 16th at Thee Parkside at 9 pm.

    <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;thee lovely ARMITAGE SHANKS are playing...  i must feed myself and then head out there....... i'm coming from manteca, about 70 minutes away... the shanks are HIGHLY recommended, they are the medway scene's greatest existing punk rock combo (the buff medways don't count as they are more maximum r&amp;amp;b freakbeat stuff now but they STILL KICK ASS anyways)

    <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;This is the new Parkside Tribe where eventually staff/bands will post their events and a little what not.  
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;I work for Tribe.net and got the chance to meet Sean O' Conner and his publicist Sarah of Parkside.  I could tell by talking to them that there is a real sense of community within Parkside.  Hopefully this Tribe can be another outlet for that to be expressed.   &lt;/div&gt;
